Something evil and dangerous is happening. Can anyone elaborate?

Im a mother of two teen boys and wife to a farmer. We moved into our new farm house about 2 years ago. 3nights ago i woke up to a loud hissing outside my bedroom window, I got up and looked outside, nothing was there. I then woke my husband up and he heard it too. We stayed up for about any hour until it stopped. The hissing was very very loud, and gave us both goose bumps. The next morning, while doing our daily errants outside, my husband found our dog, who really isn't frightened of anything cowering in the corner of one of the barns. Last night, i had a dream that i was in our bathroom. The hissing noise started again, loud and persistent. I turned around and looked down the hallway to the back door. I saw the ugliest most distorted monster i'd ever seen, trying to get into my house. I was raised under a christian household, and while im a christian, i make the rest of my family go to church every sunday. Could it be Satan trying to get into my house? Please help? Anyone know whats going on here?
