Butane Torch Lighter Problems!?

Ok so i bought two butane torch lighters, one is a Nibo, and the other is a Tiger. When I first got the Tiger one it worked great then it ran out of fuel and i filler it up, but now i light it and the flame goes away in under a second... Why? And the Nibo I filled up and it just won't light at all ever... Why?
