How to get started modeling?

i dont have a model body type.. it seems like you either see really skinny girls or lager like size 12-14 girls but never average like size 6 like me.. is anything above a 4 considered plus size? and im not tall im 5'6''-5'7'' but its always been a dream of mine and i get told im beautiful and ive been told i look exactly like raina hein. not to sound conceinted but i really think im pretty enough to be a model. but i would have no idea how to get started is there a legit site i could send photos? i Dont really wanna ask my mom. idk if shed take me seriously and i live in a small town
